Statement from Rainbow Nursery Hull Ltd in response to Coronavirus/COVID 19 situation

Firstly we would like to extend our best wishes and thanks to all the people and organisations who are working tirelessly to support us all through these unprecedented times.

Rainbow Nursery is committed to continuing to support our children, their parents and carers through this unchartered territory. In response to advice issued by the Government in relation to Coronavirus/COVID 19, Rainbow Nursery and Rainbow Preschool closed its doors to the majority of our children immediately. We did remain open to care for the children of our Key Worker families, but this soon became unviable as due to the number of our staff who were unwell, isolating or classed as vulnerable themselves we could not guarantee any continuity of care.

With great sadness, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close both of our settings Rainbow Nursery and Rainbow Preschool until further notice. Our last day was Friday the 27th March.

We would like to reinforce to our parents that we will reopen both settings as soon as it is safe to do so and all existing hours and sessions are guaranteed for you on your return. All of our staff will be supported and retained through this difficult period so your children will be welcomed back into a safe environment by people they already know and love.

Our staff will be working from home during this temporary closure so if you have any enquiries, want to discuss changing sessions, booking new ones or even registering a new child please don’t hesitate to contact Claire, the Nursery Manager, on info@rainbownurseryhull.co.uk.

We would like to thank all our families for your continued support, and we hope to open our doors again very soon when it is safe to do so. We wish you and your loved ones well and please keep safe.
